## Selected by Rob

- Name: REEF REEK only. Rob explicitly retired the other name options during the voice discussion. Earlier files remain historical process evidence.
- Mascot: cheeky grotesque kraken / sea creature.
- Palette: wax yellow, deep purple, hot pink, acid-green accents.
- Product: three individually wrapped surf-wax blocks in a milk-carton-style package.
- Website scope: one page. No invented tested benefits or environmental claims.

## Voice refinement

Primary line: **Three blocks. One sea freak.** Supporting hero copy: **Surf wax. Individually wrapped. Questionable company.** Full voice rules, packaging text and one-page copy deck are in `direction/voice-and-copy.html`. This is the first refined copy pass, prepared after Rob authorised tagline and tone development.

## Actual tools this round

- Built-in image generation for concept art; exact underlying model/version was not exposed and is not asserted.
- In-app browser: screenshots, pointer interactions, scrolling, keyboard Escape, viewport changes, computed styles and readable CSSOM.
- Python standard library for SVG process diagrams.
- HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript for the local direction review document.

Proposed later: Blender, GSAP/ScrollTrigger and semantic HTML/CSS/JavaScript. No dependencies installed. No Blender scene, material tests, lighting experiments, final renders, Higgsfield output or production brand website has been made in this round. This records the original preproduction round. The direction study is being prepared for Cloudflare hosting; domain activation is tracked separately.

## Research boundaries

Sweet Tape was inspected at 1440 × 900 and 390 × 844 CSS pixels on 19 October 2026. Initial inspection also used the default 911-pixel viewport. Mobile is responsive viewport testing, not a physical phone test. Desktop letter response, product selection, menu opening, Escape dismissal, horizontal/diagonal scroll and footer dragging were exercised. Mobile Next selection, menu and footer dragging were exercised with desktop pointer input.

Reduced-motion CSS was present and preserved. The active browser preference was false; OS preference/emulation and JavaScript fallback were not tested. No formal accessibility compliance claim.

Observed source signals support a Next.js inference for Sweet Tape, plus Futura PT Condensed and Inter Tight font-family declarations. Animation engine and versions are not established.

Refined vector identity → paper package fit test → Blender geometry and UVs → material/lighting comparisons → six hero key poses → motion prototype → one-page implementation → responsive/accessibility/performance testing → truthful portfolio case study.

Preserve original sketches and generated explorations. Date future variations; do not overwrite this round. Do not modify the read-only `sources/` directory in the parent project.
